Largest Trimaran Superyacht Echo Yachts Create 'White Rabbit Golf'
The challenges
Preserving a luxury feel on board one of the world’s largest aluminium trimaran was no new exercise for Pyrotek even as the owners desired a very high level of performance for a vessel in an elite class of its own.
This 84-metre trimaran from award-winning Australian shipyard Echo Yachts accommodates up to 30 guests with a crew of 32. The bespoke, custom design was created for the experienced owners, and it includes expansive entertaining areas and large, elegant interior spaces. Guests on board can share incredible experiences and a heightened level of living, which also creates unique opportunities for hosting get-togethers and building relationships with valuable business partners.
With a focus on experience, service and quality accommodation, the team was required to address structural vibration, noise, reverberation, which also drove the need for including high-performance solutions with DNV-GL classification.
The solutions
Working closely with project leads, the use of Pyrotek materials complimented the refined lifestyle created for the stunning owner and guest suites onboard.
Soundproofing included wall and bulkhead construction on the areas designed to help achieve an oasis of calm and pure serenity.

Opting for a complete system with impressive noise suppression and vibration damping capabilities, the internationally rated systems exist in the market to be included directly as wall partition and structural fire protection, while also being lightweight and offering a long product life.
Adequate protection despite close proximity to engine rooms and mechanical rooms below was achieved with Quadzero NL, with the inclusion of Decidamp DC30 used on the hull structure to ensure substantial reductions in structure-radiated noise.
