These innovative jackets, designed to reduce noise and improve thermal insulation, cater to a growing need in the HVAC industry for quieter and more efficient systems.
Pyrotek's Compressor Jackets (CJ) offer a highly effective noise reduction and thermal insulation solution. These jackets are available with two barrier weight options: 2 kg/m² and 4 kg/m². They incorporate either high-density polyurethane foam (CMR) or recycled nonwoven polyester (SR) decoupling layers. The jackets significantly reduce noise transfer from compressors, air systems, and heat pumps, with sound attenuation of up to 6 dB(A) when optimally designed.
The decoupling layers play a crucial role in minimizing noise. The CMR and SR materials isolate the mass barrier from the compressor wall, blocking direct noise paths, while reducing vibration of the enclosure wall. These jackets offer premium performance when the mass barrier is combined with these decoupling layers, enhancing both sound absorption and thermal insulation properties.

Custom sizes and designs are available, with a durable and flexible finish that ensures easy installation, service and replacement. The jackets can be sewn or secured using Velcro hook and loop fasteners, providing a neat and secure fit around the compressor.
