Developing Viterolite: engineered for safety
When it came time to provide acoustics to the new Northwest Rail Tunnel project, Pyrotek's non-combustible Viterolite and Reapor panels provided impressive results to address reverberation for the tunnel space. The complexity of new development, delivery and logistics can be underestimated by suppliers and project teams, and so we wanted to showcase how one success story was possible. It is perhaps still only a snapshot of the whole picture.
Teamwork between engineers and acoustic professionals meant a positive result for a long-standing new infrastructure project.
