Ideal for aluminum metal structures and rigid plastics like ABS and FRP, which are prone to transmitting noise under vibration, Decidamp CLA offers a powerful damping solution. When applied to at least 70% of a structure, it significantly reduces vibration, decreases radiated noise, and improves transmission loss, making it particularly effective for addressing low-frequency noise challenges.
Lightweight and easy to install, Decidamp CLA features a peel-and-stick backing for faster application compared to traditional insulation methods. Its flexible viscoelastic layer ensures strong adhesion and optimal contact with installation surfaces. Additionally, its high damping efficiency allows for thinner constraining plates, enabling lighter metal components while maintaining structural integrity. Thinner plates also enhance flexibility, simplifying installation on curved surfaces and reducing overall system weight.
